Nashville- and L.A.-based business management company specializes in musicians and athletes Tri Star Sports & Entertainment Group CEO Lou Taylor admits that when some people hear her name, they expect a man.
When Lou Taylor walks into a room, people tend to notice. Maybe it’s the blingy Lakers championship ring (a gift from client Metta World Peace) on her finger or the bronze Saint Laurent platform heels on her feet. Or, perhaps, it’s that with a name like Lou, most people are expecting a man. “I always love that,” she says.
Florida Georgia Line’s smash with Bebe Rexha, “Meant to Be,” confirmed the duo’s top-tier status — and business manager Taylor has been an integral part of the act’s rise.
“When you have as much responsibility as I do, you don’t have time for bullshit,” says Lou Taylor, a woman allergic to mincing words. In the 25 years since she launched Tri Star—at just 28, with two baseball stars and one boxing heavyweight.
